Schonefeld Named UAA Player of the Year

11/24/09 - After her second reconstructed knee surgery in three years, Lindsey Ragland (Mava/Floyd Central) might have felt down on herself and given up her dream of playing collegiate volleyball. Mava Alumni Square off at the UAA Championships (Natalie Shonefeld leads Emory to Title)

11/11/09 - Chicago: At the UAA Championships in Chicago, Emory squared off with the host University of Chicago in the semi finals. While Chicago was looking for its first time in the finals of the UAA, Emory was vying for its second straight DIII National Championship birth. In this match, with Shonefeld dishing out 48 assists against Sam "Money" Brown's 26 digs, it would be Emory who took the match and leaped into the finals. READ MORE

Luking leads Transylvania University over Rust and Adrian in straight sets (Benninger has 12 kills)

10/19/09 - Transylvania University took a pair of straight set wins over Rust and Averett Saturday on the first day of the Rhodes Fall Classic. The Pioneers overwhelmed Rust 25-11, 25-11, and 25-12. Against Averett, the scores were 25-21, 25-21, and 25-12. READ MORE

Sue Jacobi Recieves Offensive Player of the Week Award

10/18/09 - Ohio junior outside hitter Sue Jacobi was named Mid-American Conference East Division Offensive Player of the Week Monday. Jacobi hit an astronomical .525 last week, with 25 kills (4.17 per set) on 40 attempts in the sweeps over Bowling Green and Miami. She also posted a pair of digs with five total blocks on the defensive end. READ MORE

10/14/09 - Spalding University's Paige Dellis, a sophomore from Louisville, Ky. (Mava/Mercy Academy), has been named the SLIAC Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of September 1-6. READ MORE
