Spring Break was Double Bid Week for 13 Elite!!!

First stop for 13 Elite on their spring break JO bid quest was Columbus, Ohio for the 52 team Mideast Qualifier. The team cruised through pool play winning all matches in 2 games. Sunday?s Gold Bracket brought tougher opponents, but the girls continued their streak of eliminating teams in 2 games until the finals. There they played Cleveland Renaissance and won in three games to claim qualifier championship number one!

Instead of letting up with a bid already in their possession, 13 Elite arrived at Atlanta?s 65 team Big South Qualifier on a mission to win another qualifier and better their JO seeding. Friday and Saturday were undefeated days. Sunday?s Gold bracket would again put them against fierce competition. In the Semi-finals, MAVA 13 Elite faced the top seeded Madfrogs out of Texas. This was the toughest team they have played this season. After losing the first game, 13 Elite dug deep and fought back to win the next two loud and exciting games and move on to the finals. Finishing business, they beat A5 131 and claimed their second JO Qualifier championship! Great job players and coaches! We're going to Miami!
