Emily Juhl Named a Top Player in Country by PrepVolleyball.com

PrepVolleyball.com has named our own Emily Juhl (17 Elite/ Sacred Heart) as a top player in the country. See her write up below. Congratulations Emily!

Juhl has been living up to her name as a star on the volleyball court since she was in the 5th grade. Though standing just 5-10, she soars well above 10-0 and is the type of player coaches spend an entire week game planning to try to stop her.

That?s a pipe dream, of course, against a player who regularly attracts and defeats triple teams. An ultimate crowd pleaser, Juhl has a whip for an arm, with no conscience about six packing someone on the other side of the net. Behind the line, she boasts a lethal jump serve that, at times, feels as though it was hit from a cannon.

An improving defensive player, Juhl may play on the left for Louisville, where she has committed, though her leaping ability and long reach make her a natural fit for coach Leonid Yelin on the right side.
