FEAR CLINIC SERIES - An Introduction to MAVA?s Skills Training Program

Prepare your athlete for the upcoming club tryouts by sharpening their skills and learning from some of the best collegiate coaches and players.
These clinics are designed to be more cost effective but with the same results as an individual lesson.
Help your athlete become a well-rounded player by encouraging them to attend multiple sessions geared at all skills and for all skill levels.
Sessions are divided by the following: Hitting/Blocking, Setting, Serving, Defense/Passing and groups will be divided within the sessions based on age and skill level.
- HITTING/BLOCKING: Sessions concentrated on arm-swing, footwork (both blocking & hitting), quicker transitioning and increasing hitting versatility.
- SETTING: Sessions concentrated on technique, hand and body positioning, ball placement and delivery, and attacking as a setter.
- SERVING: Sessions concentrated on consistency, aggressiveness, hitting zones, jump serving, float serving, and short serving.
- DEFENSE/PASSING: Sessions concentrated on platform, body positioning, and footwork for both defense and serve receive.
These clinics are for athletes, ages 10-18 and all skill levels so your athlete is constantly learning but also following in the footsteps of future Division I standouts.
- 90 minute Clinic Sessions w/ 40 ATHLETES MAX PER SESSION
- $20 PER SESSION
- 12 CLINICS TOTAL

Coordinating this effort will be Stephanie Marsh, Assistant Volleyball Coach and former player at the University of Louisville, and Kara Hamilton, last season?s head coach MAVA 13 Elite and former University of Louisville player (2004).
Working with Stephanie and Kara will be Jennifer Hoffman, Assistant Volleyball Coach and former All American at the University of Louisville; and Todd Garvey, Head Volleyball Coach Mercy Academy and 2008National High School Coach of the year.
