MAVA Represented Well Again in High School Playoffs

As MAVA tryouts are right around the corner and the Kentucky State Tournament is underway, we wanted to recognize a few of our outstanding athletes and coaches.

All three of the Player of the Year Awards for the three local Regions were for the second straight year a MAVA sweep.

Region 6 Player of the Year - Caitlin Welch ? Mercy
Region 7 Player of the Year - Emily Juhl ? Sacred Heart
Region 8 Player of the Year - Kelly Moyer ?Oldham County

In addition, two MAVA coaches received Coach of the Year awards:

Region 6 - Todd Garvey, Mercy
Region 7 - Laura Pfeffer Anderson, Whitefield Academy
