MAVA is pleased to announce the addition of Brett Versen as College Recruiting Coordinator. Brett comes to MAVA from James Madison University where he was an assistant volleyball coach. Prior to his position at JMU, he served as an assistant for the University of Kentucky volleyball program. Brett played at the highest level collegiately on the varsity program at The Ohio State University where he was a key player in multiple conference championships and NCAA Final Four appearances. His experiences as both a recruited student-athlete in basketball and volleyball as well as a recruiting coach at the Division I level will provide invaluable experience and knowledge to the players and families of MAVA.

Brett will be immediately available to assist players and families with any questions and/or concerns as they go about the recruiting process while a part of MAVA.  He will be the main point of contact for college coaches seeking information on MAVA players.  In the future, he will be leading discussions on various topics related to the recruiting process throughout the year.
